Top 100 U.S. Retailers 2023 Fer House

The National Retail Federation (NRF), is the largest retail trade association in the world. Recently, NRF released the 2023 Top 100 U.S. Retailers list. The list ranks U.S. retailers based on 2022 sales.

Walmart topped this year's list with $499.65 billion in sales, a growth rate of 7.8%. Amazon followed with $232.46 billion in sales and a growth rate of 6.7 percent. Costco Wholesale, The Kroger Co. and The Home Depot were third through fifth, respectively.

01 Walmart

Walmart is the world's largest retailer, founded by Mr. Sam Walton in 1962 in Arkansas, United States, is committed to helping people around the world save money and live better anytime, anywhere through different platforms and different ways such as brick-and-mortar retail stores, online e-stores, and mobile devices mobile.

03 Costco Wholesale

Open Marketer is the largest chain of membership warehouse wholesale stores in the United States, and in 2009 was the third largest retailer in the United States and the ninth largest in the world. It is the founding member of the wholesale warehouse club, and since its inception has been committed to providing its members with high-quality, brand-name merchandise at the lowest possible prices.

- U.S. percentage of global sales: 75%;

04 The Kroger Co.

Kroger is an American retailer founded by Bernard Kroger in 1883 in Cincinnati, Ohio. This company is the largest supermarket chain in the United States by revenue, the 23rd largest in the United States, the third largest retailer in the world and the third largest employer in the United States.

05 The Home Depot

The Home Depot is the world's leading retailer of home building supplies and the second largest retailer in the United States. The Home Depot has a chain of 2,234 stores throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico and China.
