Happy Easter!
Easter 2023 will be observed on Sunday, April 9. The most important Christian holiday, Easter is a “movable feast.” This is based on the Gregorian calendar. However, note that many Eastern Orthodox churches follow the Julian calendar rather than the Gregorian. In 2023, Eastern Orthodox Easter will take place on Sunday, April 16 (Julian calendar date converted to the Gregorian calendar).
Easter is the Christian festival that celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The story behind Easter lies in the New Testament of the Bible, which narrates how the Roman authorities arrested Jesus because he claimed to be the Son of God and was later crucified. His resurrection three days later marks the occasion of Easter.
Easter concludes the “Passion of Christ,” which begins with a 40 days period of fasting – Lent and is concluded by the Holy Week. Holy Thursday (celebration of Jesus’s last supper) and the crucifixion of Jesus Christ on Good Friday are part of the Holy Week which ends on Easter Sunday.
Easter is celebrated as a joyous occasion, and the Sunday prior is called Palm Sunday, which marks the arrival of Jesus in Jerusalem. Various churches begin the celebration in the late hours of Saturday through a religious service called Easter Vigil.
Notably, Easter is also associated with the Jewish holiday of Passover and the exodus of the Jews from Egypt, as described in the Old Testament.
Chocolate-filled eggs or brightly painted eggs with sweets inside are common gifts exchanged on Easter. People choose to loosen their purse strings and splurge on the Easter weekend as the celebrations arrive after a 40-day lent period.
Non–religious celebrations include Easter eggs’ tradition, which represents fertility and birth, and the Easter bunny, which delivers chocolates and sweets to kids on Sunday morning. Some other non-religious Easter traditions include a treasure hunt searching for Easter eggs and games such as egg rolling and egg decorating.
Since many customers wanted us to provide Easter-themed fruit baskets, egg holders and storage baskets, we developed a bunny series based on our original chicken-shaped egg baskets from last year. These bunny storage baskets come in different sizes to store eggs, fruit or other items and are made in different bright colors that are perfect to appear at Easter.
We designed a set of two Easter egg-shaped baskets to store eggs or food in a festive way.The greens and blues we use are so lovely that they catch the eye in any corner of the house and are very popular with children and ladies.
The chicken-shaped egg baskets are our best-selling product all year round, especially for Easter orders, which will sell more. The traditional weaving process for egg baskets requires a lot of manpower and long hours of manual weaving, and the delivery time is not easy to control. We designed a new chicken shape and operated it with a touch welding process to speed up production.
So far, we have accumulated some Easter-themed products, and we hope to bring surprise and good mood to our customers, then we will be happy.
The loveliest day comes when you wake up one morning and discover the truth that love colors our world.Happy Easter!
