520 For the Carnival of Love
Valentine's Day is celebrated annually on 14 February in the West. On this day, couples in the West give each other gifts and express their love for each other with flowers, chocolates, jewellery, cards, etc. People celebrate this holiday as a day of romance and love enrichment. On this day, lovers give each other special gifts, cards, or prepare a romantic dinner for each other.
In China, we also have our traditional Valentine's Day. For Chinese Valentine's Day, it is the Lantern Festival (15th day of the first month of the lunar calendar) as well as the Tanabata Festival (7th day of the 7th month of the lunar calendar).
On this day, Chinese people have a series of traditional folklore activities such as viewing lanterns, eating dumplings, guessing lantern riddles and setting off fireworks. The Lantern Festival is a romantic festival, a time for young men and women to meet their lovers.
The Tanabata Festival, on the other hand, is said to have been the day when the ancient Chinese couple, the Cowherd and the Weaving Maid, met on the Magpie Bridge in the sky, signifying that the young man and woman had found the other half they wanted to love. It is also a very romantic festival.
But in modern times, 520 is enjoyed by the majority of young men and women as a new festival. It is celebrated every year on May 20, or 520 for short, which means I love you in Mandarin. Young men and women make a bold confession to their significant other: I love you. On this day, many couples send each other gifts and meet for dinner to convey to their significant others that they love you.
It's almost May 20th and we wish all couples in the world happiness and prosperity.
We, as representatives of the home furnishing industry, also have a number of product designs about love. There are heart-shaped designs and love designs(such as fruit basket, bread basket, fruit bowl and so on), which also seek to express a sense of love. We hope you will like our products.
